After viewing the video, create your own stained glass window.

      1. Create a workable design.  Will your design be symmetrical or asymmetrical?  Draw big and avoid small details.

      2. Once your design is complete, trace over your drawing with the black glue provided.

      3. When the glue is dry, erase any stray pencil marks you can see.

      4. Add color to your work using water color paints.  To make your work more interesting, try    using a variety of colors when painting.  For example, if you choose to paint your sky blue; instead of painting every piece of the sky the same color - use the color wheel to help you mix different variations of blue.  Blue-green, Blue, Blue-Violet.  Try not to paint the each touching pieces the same color.

      5. Once your work is dry, photograph it and upload it to the Stained Glass Photo Gallery.

  2. Great activity, the students will really enjoy creating their own stain glass product and posting the picture to your on-line gallery. Nice integration of another technology piece!
